Welcome to our Madrid villa holiday rental site! We hope you enjoy your visit

While you're here, we just wanted to tell you a bit more about our house, Rosade. The property has been in our family since 1969, when it was built by our parents, originally as a country home for us to spend the summers at. After our father passed away, we took it over in 2005, completely refurbished it and transformed it into the vacation home you see today.

We have been in business since then and have loved every second of it. We are avid travellers ourselves and take pride in offering a high quality home to make your holiday one to remember.

We hope you find our website helpful and useful and that we may, in due course, offer you our services.

Rosa & Adela

Rosade has always been in our family:  the plot was purchased by our parents and the house built in 1969 as a country home. The house was designed and built in the Andalucian style, as our mother is originall from Cordoba and had always longed for her home. We have very fond memories of this house, where we have spent many weekends and entire summers in our youth, and where we have seen our own children as well as our nieces and nephews grow. Most important events in our family have been intrinsically linked to this house.

The house was closed-up in 1988/89 when our parents bought a new country home in the nearby town of Pozuelo. From then until 2001, when our father passed away, the house remained closed and unused. In 2002, with the properties inherited from our father, we created our own business, Proyectos Rosade S.L. After giving it much thought, we decided to refurbish the house and put it back into use. The house is so large that it had endless possibilities! We started by splitting the plot into two, re-landscaping the garden, and modernising the house: fitting new floors, gutting the kitchen and bathrooms, rebuilding the swimming poor and closing off the porch, amongst many things. Originally, the house was transformed into a B&B in the summers for travelers visiting Madrid who wanted the comfort of a pool away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We have come to realize that this kind of house and entourage is much more appreciated and better suited for families, or groups of friends who want to spend time together with plenty of space and every convenience that our house affords.

We have since grown our business, incorporating another property in Salou, a property close to the beach which, after 5 years of constant renovations, has become a pretty and comfortable place to spend the holidays.

Rosa is our resident handyman. She goes around the place with a drill in one hand and a paint brush in the other. She is also largely responsible for the beautiful landscaping and flower beds around the property

Kristin is originally from Bulgaria and has been a part of our team since 2007. She makes the best lentil stew and loves animals

Adela is our management guru. She is fluent in English, French and will give any language a shot. She is the one who makes the business run like clockwork and is our guests' go-to person

Elsa is Adela's daughter. She is our freelance IT expert and is always looking for ways of making sure our business is up to date and following the latest trends.

Our house is spread over 3 floors: basement, ground floor and first floor. It is built in the traditional Andalusian style, with an outdoor patio and a porch. It is enclosed in an 800m2 garden with private swimming pool and its own parking area.

There are 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms - One of the bedrooms and bathrooms are on the ground floor, making it ideal for people with limited mobility; the other 5 bedrooms are all on the first floor. 3 of them share a bathroom and the other two bedrooms are en-suite.

The kitchen is fully equipped with kitchen utensils, tableware, and all mod-cons (fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven, induction stove, etc). Free wi-fi is provided together with bed and bathroom linens.

Meals and cleaning services are available upon request for an extra fee. Please ask us. Other services such as babysitters, airport transfers, etc are also available. Please contact us to discuss your requirements

    Front Sitting Room

As you walk into the villa, you stumble across a very versatile conservatory,  with couches and some chairs and table. This is a room isolated from the rest of the house, giving it an uncommon tranquility, affords a wonderful view of the garden and is great in any season

    Living Room

The living room has its own traditional chimney with views and direct access to the patio. This room comprises comfortable furniture and has plenty of room for everyone

    Dining Room

The dining room is annexed to the kitchen, with a table which comfortably seats 14 guests and is equipped with a buffet and service area.

Many would say this is the most important room in the house! Ours is completely equipped with mod-cons, tableware and utensils

    Andalusian Patio

The traditional Andalusian patio has antique window gratings and whitewashed walls, serving as the best place to be on a spring, summer or autumn afternoon. It also has a BBQ, making it ideal for summer nights or spending time with friends

    Garden and Pool area

The pool is no doubt our favourite part of the house. This is where we love to spend time in the summer. The pool is done in green-tiles, and has a shallow end and a deeper end. On the side the tiled surface is the best place to lie on the pool chairs and soak up the sun in the morning. In the afternoon, take a power nap under the pine trees on the grass and you'll wake up good as new!

The first floor has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms:

A family room split into two sections, which is ideal for parents with young children, and has its own en-suite bathroom (and a massage shower!). This room also has access to the balcony

On the other side (room #5) there is another en-suite bedroom with a Juliet-style balcony overlooking the pool and the garden, and perfect for a couple.

The remaining bedrooms all have two single-beds each and share a bathroom

This is by far the cosiest and most comfortable room in the house. It has a  32" plasma TV, DVD and VHS players, and  is furnished with two big 3-seaters which chaise longues and pouffs, so they are perfect for movie nights. Thanks to its thick stone walls this is the place to take refuge in both hot summer afternoons and cold winter nights!

300 EUR based on 1 week for 8 guests. For larger parties or longer stays, this may be increased at our discretion. This will be refunded within 14 days of the end of the lease provided there are no deductions. If deductions are applicable, this will be refunded within 30 days.
